How to Beat the Post-Christmas Blues

Hey guys!

I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas! It's absolutely flown by, I swear it was just November last week?  However, with the finishing of the festive period comes the post-Christmas blues. So here's a few ways to battle the blues..

1. Go shopping!
I know most people may say it's crazy to go shopping in the sales, but I personally think it's a great way to stay busy and maybe find a bargain in the meantime. Also, all the Christmas lights are still up until early January so it's a good way to keep the Christmas spirit alive.

2. Get organised
The period between Christmas and New Year is always a good chance to get organised and plan your time ahead. A good tip is to crack out that 2016 calendar you got for Christmas and write up all the exciting dates and plans in the year ahead.

3. Enjoy the festive food
Chances are that there's no way you managed to finish all the food you bought and received for Christmas Day, so the days after Christmas are a good excuse to finish it all off. Enjoy those leftover Quality Streets before the guilt of January sinks in!

4. Catch up with Family and Friends
As Christmas is a time when old friends and faraway family tend to be close to home, use it as an opportunity to catch up before everyone sinks back into the everyday routine. It'll make you release how much you appreciate them.

5. Finally, just relax!
Although it's always a good idea to keep busy after Christmas to take your mind off things, it's also the perfect opportunity to relax and just enjoy spending time in your new pyjamas catching up on Christmas television specials. Find a good film, a comfy blanket and just relax....
