Summer Style: The Kimono

Hello!

Summer is finally here in the UK! Both my holidays are over with for the year, so I'm very glad it's finally hotting up at home. But, with the summer comes new fashion trends, and one I am loving is the Kimono!

Left to Right:

I think Kimonos are the perfect summer wardrobe staple, as they are so versatile and can be worn both day and night. They also provide protection from the sun whilst being lightweight and cool, and a bit of warmth if the weather is cooler too.

Personally, I love to team my Kimono with a simple vest top, a pair of denim shorts (or jeans if the weather isn't so good!) and just a pair of sandals. Or, if you wanted to wear a Kimono in a summer evening just change into a pair of wedges and you're good to go!
