It's officially that time of year that you have to plan what coat to wear. Long gone are the sunny days of the summer when you could go out in just a t-shirt, so I thought I'd shortlist a few of my favourite coats on sale this season.

It's really been a while! Sorry for the lack of posts across August, I've just been so busy I really haven't had the chance to sit down and focus on writing a blog post. But, I think it's about time I updated you on one of my favourite trends of the AW season, boots!

 

Summer Style: The Kimono

Summer is finally here in the UK! Both my holidays are over with for the year, so I'm very glad it's finally hotting up at home. But, with the summer comes new fashion trends, and one I am loving is the Kimono!

Left to Right:

I think Kimonos are the perfect summer wardrobe staple, as they are so versatile and can be worn both day and night. They also provide protection from the sun whilst being lightweight and cool, and a bit of warmth if the weather is cooler too.

Personally, I love to team my Kimono with a simple vest top, a pair of denim shorts (or jeans if the weather isn't so good!) and just a pair of sandals. Or, if you wanted to wear a Kimono in a summer evening just change into a pair of wedges and you're good to go!

It seems like ages since I've done a post, I've just had such a busy week with my exams coming up and leaving school I haven't found the time! But, I did manage to squeeze in a small quite big shopping trip for a few summery bits and I thought I would share with you what I bought.

I feel like my blog has been lacking some fashion posts recently, so I thought I would quickly share with you an outfit I wore this weekend.

I've always been a fan of and mainly wear bright colours, however I do have a soft spot now and again for monochrome too. I think it really it can work on so many skintones and body shapes, and can be worn to be either to look smart or casual.
