With the weather being so nice recently, and the fact I've finished my exams, it's finally starting to feel like summer is here! But whether you're going abroad or staying at home, having a good skincare routine is important to protect your body and maintain your potential tan!
Face
This is a gradual facial tanner by Simple, I like to use this type of moisturiser in the summer because I still tend to wear foundation in the sun meaning my face ends up not tanning as well as the rest of my body. However, if you're one who doesn't wear much make up in the sun, then you won't need this in your routine! But at £4.99 it's a bargain on the high street.
The Body Shop are renowned for their brilliant skincare products and this facial SPF is one of my favourites. It's not too thick and sun cream like, meaning that it's a nice moisturiser to replace in your daily routine, especially if you use nothing else on your face!
This Nivea Primer is one of my favourites of all time! In the summer especially a primer is a good step to add into your skincare routine if you continue to wear foundation. This one is brilliant as it doesn't dry out the skin, hence the name, and comes in Combination/Normal and Dry/Sensitive.
Body
Firstly can I just say, I love Soap & Glory products so much. Both their makeup and skincare ranges are brilliant, and smell so good! I think it's always important to moisturise in the summer after being out in the sun to lock in your natural tan, and keep the skin hydrated! This one of my favourite moisturisers as it's smell so good and absorbs into the skin so quickly.
If you find body moisturising a tedious and boring job, this one is definitely for you. It's such a brilliant idea, and really does take seconds to moisturise. The smell is lovely too, so it's an all great product for lazy days especially!
Another Soap & Glory favourite of mine! I use hand creams all year round because nobody likes dry hands, but in the summer especially they tend to dry out. This one has that typical Soap & Glory scent, and absorbs so quick into your hands so you're not left unable to touch anything for ages!
