Mini Lush Christmas Haul!

Hello!

I know it's only October, but I'm one of those people that gets very excited for Christmas pretty early on. It's definitely my favourite holiday of the year, I just love all the decorations, excitement and festivities that surround the occasion. So, when out shopping the other day in Portsmouth we popped into Lush and well, how could I resist the Lush Christmas selection?!

Wow, hello..

So it's been a while since I wrote my last blog post, and this is because just over three weeks ago I moved out to University!

I'm currently studying International Business at the University of Kent, which I'm really enjoying so far (more the social side than the course, but still!). I miss my friends, Josh and home a lot, but I've met so many lovely people (especially my flat) which makes it much easier.

I just thought I'd write a quick post to let you know that now I've settled in more I'm going to try and write more posts and get back in the swing of blogging whilst studying.

But this is a picture of my room..

Summer Style: The Kimono

Summer is finally here in the UK! Both my holidays are over with for the year, so I'm very glad it's finally hotting up at home. But, with the summer comes new fashion trends, and one I am loving is the Kimono!

I think Kimonos are the perfect summer wardrobe staple, as they are so versatile and can be worn both day and night. They also provide protection from the sun whilst being lightweight and cool, and a bit of warmth if the weather is cooler too.

Personally, I love to team my Kimono with a simple vest top, a pair of denim shorts (or jeans if the weather isn't so good!) and just a pair of sandals. Or, if you wanted to wear a Kimono in a summer evening just change into a pair of wedges and you're good to go!

I've always been a fan of and mainly wear bright colours, however I do have a soft spot now and again for monochrome too. I think it really it can work on so many skintones and body shapes, and can be worn to be either to look smart or casual.

Review: Models Own Polish for Tans Collection!

I've recently been enjoying the sunnier weather, and with the sun comes pretty nail colour releases! Whilst browsing through numerous blogs, vlogs and websites I came across the new Models Own Collection, Polish for Tans! And me being me and not having any willpower, the whole collection quickly ended up in my basket..

I thought I would share with you what I thought of the five shades, and can I just say that I'm really not the best at painting my nails, but I tried my hardest! The polishes claim to 'enhance and compliment a natural tan', through the use of pastel and neon tones.

I've had my eye on these Topshop boots for what seems like forever, but it seems they're just not coming back into stock in a size 6, so I decided to have a look elsewhere instead.

Review: Foundation

Welcome everyone!

I'm new to this blogging life, but I've been wanting to start one for ages and I've finally given in and done it! I spend far too much of my money on trying new products, so I may as well give myself an excuse to ;)

I wasn't sure how to start this, but I thought I would start straight in and since I've bought a few new foundations recently it seemed fitting.

My skin tone is quite olive based, so I normally have to go for the medium shades. I haven't got particularly bad skin, but it tends to have days where it doesn't want to cooperate with me, so I chose to buy a selection of different foundations with different coverage levels.
